Events and Marketing Manager
(Maternity Cover) Full Time: The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £31,905- £38,594 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The Events Marketing Manager will work with and support the Director, as a key member of the Events Team, which is an integral part of UCL Enterprise
The position represents an opportunity to bring creativity and organisational flair to UCL Enterprises’ diverse range of events, ensuring that these events contribute to the images and messages that UCL wishes to convey and to spread.
The Events and Marketing Manager will ensure that all events are professionally organised and managed, and as a result will predispose individuals and business contacts to participate further in UCL Enterprises’ programmes.
This is a fixed term position for 9 months from 1 March – 30 November 2012 covering maternity leave.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent or ganisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to take on responsibilities and to have a hands-on attitude to the post. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with a wide range of people, proven skills at or ganizing, coordinating and planning, ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, priorities and manage workload to tight deadlines, with a minimum of supervision and be able to work calmly under pressure. Experience of managing budgets and ensuring that expenditure for activities does not exceed agreed limits.
